Day Patient Programs
Rivendell offers a range of evidence based therapeutic programs for day patients. The day patient programs can be used as an alternative to admission, or to continue the therapeutic work after completing the inpatient program.

How do I get Referred?
Ask your Doctor or Specialist to refer you to North West Private Hospital psychiatrist for the purpose of attending a day patient program..
Please contact us via calling 6432 6000 or emailing [email protected] to discuss your suitability and eligibility for for the therapy programs.
If you are not currently a patient at our hospital, you require an outpatient appointment where your Psychiatrist will conduct an assessment and determine the best program to treat your condition.
If you are currently a patient at our hospital, please discuss referral to a program with any of the Rivendell Staff.
The Psychiatrist will provide a referral to North West Private Day Programs, and one of the day program staff will contact you to discuss the details.
Costs and Insurance Cover
Our North West Therapy Programs administration staff will contact you for a health fund check.
If you have an excess or co-payment with your health insurance, you will be required to pay at the time of admission for the first session.
Self-funded patients will be required to for the complete program cost at the time of admission for the first session.

Additional information:
On the day
On the day of the program please arrive 15 minutes early and sign in at the hospital main reception.
If you attend a full day program. the hospital will provide you morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea prepared in our onsite hospital kitchen.
Should you have special dietary requirements please advise the North West Day Program staff.
At the end of the group session, please sign out at the hospital main reception and you will be given a parking voucher.
