Visiting Hours
Visiting hours are restricted to three hours per day between the hours 2pm to 5pm with a maximum of 2 visitors at a time.
All visitors are asked to observe visiting hours and respect the privacy of our patients.
Visiting Hours
HOSPITAL WARDS
Each patient can have 2 visitors at a time between the hours of 2pm - 5pm.
Mental Health (Rivendell)
Visiting hours are restricted to between 2-5pm daily and patients may have two (2) visitors at a time
Upon entry to the hospital and during your visit practice simple hygiene by:
• Making sure to clean your hands thoroughly for at least 20 seconds with soap and water, or use an alcohol-based hand rub
• Cover your nose and mouth when coughing and sneezing with tissue or a flexed elbow AND
• Practice physical (social) distancing by attempting to keep a distance of 1.5 metres (5 feet) between you and other people where possible. If you are required to move closer than 1.5 metres, ensure that the time does not exceed 15 minutes
• Avoid shaking hands, hugging, touching or kissing other people or sharing food
• Avoid close contact with anyone with cold or flu-like symptoms

No Smoking
In accordance with legislation, smoking is prohibited on North West Private Hospital grounds, and a five metre buffer beyond our boundary. This applies to all patients, visitors and staff at all times and includes all smoking products including regular cigarettes and e-cigarettes. Please observe no smoking signage around our hospital grounds.
Onsite Café
Our onsite café is located next to the to the main hospital reception and is open for the convenience of visitors during the following times:
- Monday to Friday: 7:00am - 5:00pm
There is also a café located in the medical centre adjacent to the Private Hospital. Hudson's café is open:
- Monday to Friday: 7:00am - 5:00pm
- Saturday: 8:00am - 1:00pm
Snacks and refreshments can also be purchased from the dispensing machine in the foyer of the hospital.
